Hello. Just wanted to express my horrible service experience at the La Jolla location on Saturday evening. First off, I made reservations at 8pm at the beginning of the week and we were unfortunately seated at 9:01pm. I understand that restaurants are at their busiest capacity on Saturdays being that I’ve previously worked in the restaurant industry. However, under no circumstances, are we to be wait an hour after our reservation time. And I also called before our reservation letting the hostess know ahead of time that I am bringing my mother to
Celebrate her birthday in which the server failed to recognize and acknowledge. And I am aware that the server knew it was my mother’s birthday because the hostess to expect a happy birthday treat after, in which did not happen. And we were very let down by having to wait over an hour for our food which did not arrive until 10pm. So we let very let down and disappointed after spending over 300.00 at your restaurant. So just wanted to shed light on our experience and hope that you can train your staff more efficiently so that situations like these can be mitigated, especially when people plan their entire evening and vacation around this special occasion. Thank for your time.
